St. Croix Rec Center    Sat, Dec 15, 2012

The Stillwater Ponies had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the Roseville Raiders.

The Ponies were led by Jake Cass, who grabbed one goal and three assists. Cass scored 2:31 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Stillwater. Aaron Kasinak assisted on the tally. Stillwater also got a goal from Brandon Jungman as well. More assists for Stillwater came via Cates Devin, Peyton Gosso, and Blake Kohanek, who each chipped in one.

The Raiders could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Roseville averages 3.4 goals per game.

The Raiders were led by Pearcy Marks, who scored the team's only goal. Marks scored on the power play 13:20 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Stillwater. A unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Tyler Fitzsimmo had put Roseville on the power play. Robb Stautz picked up the assist.
