Marshall School Duluth beats Roseville 6-0 as Murray gains shutout

The Marshall School Duluth Hilltoppers used a sparkling performance by Alex Murray to take down the Roseville Raiders, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Marshall School Duluth's 6-0 shutout victory.

The Hilltoppers were sparked by Luke Pavelich, who registered one goal. Pavelich scored 16:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Marshall School Duluth. Kyle McKinzie provided the assist.

Marshall School Duluth stifled Roseville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raiders were unable to stop the Hilltoppers from sending pucks towards the net, and Marshall School Duluth eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Marshall School Duluth also got points from Connor Flaherty, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Cam McClure, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Marshall School Duluth included Michael Damberg, who had one and Kris McKinzie, who had two. More assists for Marshall School Duluth came via Jeremy Lopez and Brady Nash, who contributed one a piece.

Roseville forced the Hilltoppers goalie Murray to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Murray rejected 34 shots on goal for Marshall School Duluth. The Hilltoppers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Zach Larson recorded 28 saves for the Raiders. Roseville incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
