The La Crescent Lancers had trouble finding ways to stop the Dodge County Wildcats, which beat Lancers, 7-2.

Dodge County forced La Crescent goalie Levi Thesing to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. The Wildcats surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Dodge County struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

The Wildcats were helped by Bryan Knesel, who finished with one goal and one assist. Knesel scored 3:13 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Dodge County. Dodge County also got points from Tanner Dufault, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Christopher Roberts, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Dodge County included Spencer Senn, who had two and Stefan Rechtzigel and Austin Lewis, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Dodge County were Colin Sherden, Thor Knutson, and Christian Schillo, who each chipped in one.

La Crescent stifled Dodge County's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Lancers found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere nine shots against the Wildcats' defense.
