Dodge County erases deficit to stun Austin, 9-7Riverside Sat, Dec 01, 2012 The Dodge County Wildcats rallied from four goals down to secure a 9-7 win over the Austin Packers. Dodge County never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Wildcats was down 6-2 after a goal by Austin's Marcus Stoulil at zero seconds in the second period. Dodge County knotted things up at 7-7 on a goal by Stefan Rechtzigel at zero seconds in the third period. The Wildcats scored the game winner on the power play at zero seconds in the third period on a goal by Rechtzigel. Sam Robinson and Rechtzigel provided the spark for Dodge County, combining for three goals and two assists. Robinson had two goals and one assist and Rechtzigel also notched one goal and one assist. The Packers were unable to stop the Wildcats from sending pucks towards the net, and Dodge County eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. The Wildcats surpassed their usual scoring output this season. Dodge County has scored at the pace of 4.3 goals per game during the current campaign. The Wildcats cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring two goals on three chances. Dodge County was hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time. Dodge County additionally got points from Tanner Dufault, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Rechtzigel, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Thor Knutson, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Cory Schillo, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dodge County also got a goal from Spencer Senn as well. In addition, Dodge County received assists from Kylo Courteau, who had one. Austin forced the Wildcats goalie Mitch Sobotta to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. The Packers were helped by Tony Baudler, who had two goals. Rainer Londino-Green made 29 saves for Austin on 38 shots. The Packers totaled 22 minutes in penalty time with one minor and two majors and went 2-for-7 on the power play.
