The Winona Winhawks pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over the La Crescent Lancers on a clutch goal by Nick Rowe.

Rowe's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 1:38 in the fourth period. Nick Arnold provided the assist.

Winona was sparked by Rowe, who racked up one goal.

The Winhawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Winona's offense rang up 44 shots on La Crescent's net.

More assists for Winona came via Luke Hemker, who had one.

The Lancers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Winhawks to score on any of their three power plays. La Crescent did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 12 shots on net to force 12 saves.

Winona's Andrew Yeske stopped 12 shots out of the 12 that he faced. The Winhawks incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Levi Thesing rejected 43 shots on goal for the Lancers. La Crescent incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
