Fergus Falls beats Wadena-Deer Creek 8-6 as Tarczon gets hat trickWadena Community Center Tue, Jan 15, 2013 Zach Tarczon lifted the Fergus Falls Otters to an 8-6 victory with a hat trick against the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines. Tarczon's first goal came 8:38 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:18 into the first and at 6:04 into the second.Fergus Falls' offense rang up 36 shots on Wadena-Deer Creek's net. The Otters surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Fergus Falls averages 4.2 goals per contest. The Otters took advantage of the Wolverines' penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities. Fergus Falls additionally got points from Colton Buseth, who also had two goals and one assist and Aidan Colling, who also registered one goal and one assist. Austin Hanson also scored for Fergus Falls. In addition, Fergus Falls received assists from Kyler Peterson, who had two and Joe Nathe, Ean Goos, Casey Ward, and Adam Evenson, who each chipped in one.
