Finnegan's hat trick boosts Achiever NE Academy over Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter, 4-2

The Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter Bulldogs could not stop the Achiever NE Academy Aces' Ryan Finnegan, who tallied a hat trick in a 4-2 win.

Finnegan's first goal came 9:28 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:10 into the third and at 16:46 into the third.

Achiever NE Academy's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter power plays.

Achiever NE Academy also got a goal from Baron Thompson as well. Other players who recorded assists for Achiever NE Academy were Cory Sprague, who had two and Brennan McGuire, Erik Kasner, and Tyler Thompson, who each chipped in one.

Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter was led by Brett Zallek, who had two goals. Zallek scored the first of his two goals at 8:20 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Luke Regner picked up the assist. Zallek's next tally made the score 3-2 Achiever NE Academy with 5:34 left in the third period. Sam Wenner provided the assist.

Cameron Madrid made 22 saves for the Aces on 24 shots. Achiever NE Academy totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. The Bulldogs' Chris Amsden stopped 19 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
