Mankato East/Loyola rolls over St. Paul Highland Park, 10-2

The St. Paul Highland Park Scots had trouble finding ways to stop the Mankato East/Loyola Cougars, which beat Scots, 10-2.

Mankato East/Loyola managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Cougars finished below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game. Mankato East/Loyola kept St. Paul Highland Park's goalie busy throughout the game, and Howie Sands made 39 saves on 49 shots.
