The Rochester Lourdes Eagles pulled out a 6-5 (OT) overtime victory over the Delano/Rockford Tigers on a clutch goal by Griffen Slightham.

Rochester Lourdes came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Eagles fell behind 3-0 after a goal by Delano/Rockford's Chet Halonen at 10:59 in the first period. Rochester Lourdes knotted things up at 5-5 on a power play goal by Grant Prinsen at 5:30 in the third period.

The Eagles forced the Tigers goalie Aaron Grangroth to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Rochester Lourdes was led by Alex Funk, who tallied three goals. Rochester Lourdes also got points from Karl Krecke, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Cody Cossette also scored for Rochester Lourdes. In addition, Rochester Lourdes received assists from Ben Weir, Tucker Chapman, and Andrew Ellingson, who contributed one a piece and Dakota Streit and Jason Samuelson, who each chipped in two.

Ellingson rejected 22 shots on goal for the Eagles. Rochester Lourdes incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Grangroth recorded 28 saves for Delano/Rockford. The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
