Mankato West downs Rochester John Marshall, 3-1Rochester Recreation Center Sat, Dec 15, 2012 Galt Goettl finished with one point to lead the Mankato West Scarlets to a 3-1 victory over the Rochester John Marshall Rockets. Mankato West managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Scarlets ended up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. Mankato West did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Scarlets put an average of 5.5 pucks into the net per game.
