Tonneslan leads Becker-Big Lake over Pine City/Rush City, 6-3

The Becker-Big Lake Eagles' Jason Tonneslan had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Pine City/Rush City Dragons.

Tonneslan got on the board by slotting home a goal 26 seconds into the third period to make the score 4-3 Becker-Big Lake. Tonneslan dished an assist on Nick Stalpes' goal that made the score 1-1 at 4:01 into the second period. He added another helper on Zach Veau's goal that made the score 3-3 at 14:36 into the second period.

Becker-Big Lake pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 17 penalty minutes.

Pine City/Rush City was unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Becker-Big Lake eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Becker-Big Lake also got a goal from John Messman as well. More assists for Becker-Big Lake came via Zach Muller, who had one.

The Dragons' offense rang up 33 shots on the Eagles' net. Pine City/Rush City could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Dragons were helped by Jake Kleinsasser, who had one goal. Kleinsasser scored on the power play 2:56 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Pine City/Rush City. Pine City/Rush City had gotten the advantage when Becker-Big Lake's Muller was sent off for cross checking. Casey Lucht assisted on the tally. Pine City/Rush City also got points from Lucht, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Colby Pavelka also scored for Pine City/Rush City. In addition, Pine City/Rush City received assists from Ashton LeBrun, who had one and Colton Brant, who had two.

Ben Manzke made 30 saves for the Eagles on 33 shots. Becker-Big Lake registered one goal on eight power play opportunities. Tony Pitzen rejected 38 shots on goal for the Dragons. Pine City/Rush City registered one goal on seven power play opportunities.
