Matt Ratzloff was all over the ice for the Owatonna Huskies, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Owatonna's 5-1 win over the Mankato East/Loyola Cougars.

Ratzloff scored at 5:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Owatonna and again while on the power play 4:19 into the second to make the score 2-1 Owatonna.

Owatonna also got points from Mason Bloomquist, who also had one goal and one assist. Owatonna also got a goal from Erik Colstrup as well. In addition, Owatonna received assists from Brian Kidd and Andrew Ramart, who contributed one a piece.

Mankato East/Loyola did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 14 shots on net to force 13 saves. The Cougars could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Mankato East/Loyola was led by Grayson Gavin, who scored the team's only goal. Gavin scored 15:19 into the first period to make the score 1-1.

Luke Ebeling rejected 13 shots on goal for the Huskies. Owatonna incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Aaron Kroeber recorded 25 saves for the Cougars. Mankato East/Loyola registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
