Will Dittrich racked up one point to lead the Orono Spartans to a 5-1 victory over the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons.

Orono's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato power plays. The Spartans kept Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato's goalie busy throughout the game, and Braeden Wahl made 31 saves on 36 shots.

Orono also got points from Nick Schroeder, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Silas Cleveland, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Orono also got a goal from Joey Luedtke as well. In addition, Orono received assists from Gavin Payne, who had two and Jake Flemmer, Ellis Noerenberg, Noah Schultz, and Danny Willson, who each chipped in one.

The Dragons' offense operated below they season average. Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. The Dragons struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Orono to score two power play goals on three chances.

Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato was led by Mike Spreiter, who scored the team's only goal. Spreiter scored 41 seconds into the third period to make the score 1-1. Ben Haugo provided the assist.

The Spartans' Ryan Breon stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Orono ended with 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors. The Dragons incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
