North Shore had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-1 win over the Pine City/Rush City Dragons.

Bradley Rowlee was all over the ice for North Shore, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Rowlee scored the first of his two goals at 9:52 into the second period to make the score 4-0 North Shore. Corey Johnson picked up the assist. Rowlee's next tally made the score 6-0 North Shore with 19:54 left in the third period. Luke Small assisted on the tally.

North Shore kept Pine City/Rush City's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tony Pitzen made 35 saves on 43 shots.
