Minnehaha Academy and Legacy Christian Academy could not settle their match and fought to a 3-3 tie.

The Red Hawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Minnehaha Academy was led by Ryan Evenson, who grabbed one goal and two assists. Evenson scored 14:28 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Ryan Leo assisted on the tally. Minnehaha Academy also got points from Erik Madryga, who also had one goal and one assist and Leo, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Minnehaha Academy came via Jacob Eggers and Josh Radtke, who contributed one a piece.

The Red Hawks were unable to stop the Lions from sending pucks towards the net, and Legacy Christian Academy eventually piled up 50 shots on goal.

The Lions were helped by Joe Olufson, who finished with one goal. Olufson scored 16:09 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Zach Cole provided the assist. Brock Thompson also scored for Legacy Christian Academy. In addition, Legacy Christian Academy received assists from Sam Asfahl and Jordan Sutherland, who each chipped in one.

Alex Katz recorded 47 saves for Minnehaha Academy. The Red Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tanner Balk made 27 saves for Legacy Christian Academy on 30 shots. The Lions incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
