Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter outlasts Mankato East/Loyola, 3-2Mankato East High School Tue, Dec 04, 2012 The game between the Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter Bulldogs and the Mankato East/Loyola Cougars was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter emerged with a 3-2 win. The Bulldogs gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jon Favre 10:43 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Sam Wenner had two goals to lead Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter to victory. Wenner scored at 5:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter and again while 7:47 into the third to make the score 2-2. The Bulldogs managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time.
