Huge game by Fenske boosts Little Falls over Mora/Hinkley-Finlayson, 7-2

Austin Fenske was all over the ice for the Little Falls Flyers, as he tallied one goal and four assists in Little Falls' 7-2 win over the Mora/Hinkley-Finlayson Mustangs.

Fenske beat Tanner Baxley with a shot 1:20 into the second period on the power play to make the score 1-0 Little Falls. Mark Anez picked up the assist. Fenske dished an assist on Ben Newman's goal that made the score 2-0 Little Falls at 6:25 into the second period. He then added assists on Taylor Kottschade's goal at 8:00 into the third, on Kottschade's goal at 9:59 into the third, and on Austin Bjorge's goal at 12:36 into the third.

The Flyers' offense rang up 47 shots on Mora/Hinkley-Finlayson's net. Little Falls outdid its season average for goals scored. The Flyers average 3.9 goals per game. Little Falls got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.

Little Falls additionally got points from Bjorge, who also registered one goal and one assist and Newman, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Little Falls also got a goal from Matthew Stumpf as well. Other players who recorded assists for Little Falls were Luke Majerle, Mack Anez, and Nathan Adamietz, who each chipped in one.
