Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato downs Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter, 2-1

Troy Ryynanen registered one point to lead the Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato Dragons to a 2-1 victory over the Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter Bulldogs.

Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter was unable to stop Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato from sending pucks towards the net, and the Dragons eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Aaron Haataja also scored for Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato. More assists for Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato came via Mike Spreiter, Garrett Impola, and Ethan Niemela, who each chipped in one.

The Bulldogs did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game.

The Bulldogs were led by Brett Zallek, who scored the team's only goal. Zallek scored on the power play 6:00 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter. Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter had gotten the advantage when Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato's Impola was sent off for interference. Sam Wenner picked up the assist.

Braeden Wahl recorded 22 saves for the Dragons. Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. Chris Amsden made 41 saves for the Bulldogs on 43 shots. Le Sueur-Henderson/St. Peter finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-3 with the man advantage.
