Philadelphia downs Islanders in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Philadelphia Revolution pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Islanders on a clutch goal by Travis Kauffman.

Philadelphia was paced by Kauffman, who racked up one goal and one assist. Kauffman scored 1:40 into overtime to make the score 4-3 Philadelphia. Chris Connor provided the assist.

In the losing effort, Islanders was led by David Wilcox, who tallied two goals and one assist. Wilcox scored the first of his two goals at 16:39 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Philadelphia. Keith Barnaby picked up the assist. Wilcox's next tally made the score 3-2 Philadelphia with 2:51 left in the second period. Nicholas McNally provided the assist.

The Revolution stifled Islanders' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for Philadelphia included William Hayden, who had one and Alex Dyer, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Philadelphia were Justin Goldstein, who had one.

Christopher Maksut also scored for Islanders. In addition, Islanders received assists from Jonathan Pate and Alfonso Diaz, who each chipped in one.

Justin Kirk made 13 saves for Philadelphia on 16 shots. The Revolution incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Islanders' Andrew McLeman stopped 17 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Islanders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
