Kittson Central's Kasprowicz deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Red Lake Falls

The Kittson Central Wolfpack relied on the scoring touch of Nick Kasprowicz, who netted two goals, to beat the Red Lake Falls Eagles, 4-1.

Kasprowicz's tallies came at 15:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kittson Central and 4:42 into the third to make the score 2-1 Kittson Central.

Kittson Central stifled Red Lake Falls' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Wolfpack forced the Eagles goalie Wyatt Casavan to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

Kittson Central also got points from Anders Lindegard, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Kittson Central received assists from Tyler Cosley, who had one and Zach Gatheridge and Billy Thorsteinson, who each chipped in two.

Red Lake Falls excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

The Eagles were led by Zack Landman, who scored the team's only goal. Landman scored 24 seconds into the third period to make the score 1-1. Tristan Knott assisted on the tally.

Tucker Cosley rejected 16 shots on goal for Kittson Central. The Wolfpack incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Casavan recorded 38 saves for Red Lake Falls. The Eagles totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play.
