Aaron Randall banged in two goals and Carl Minnerath also chipped in one point, but Sartell-St.Stephen tied Fergus Falls, 3-3 (OT).

The Sabres were unable to stop the Otters from sending pucks towards the net, and Fergus Falls eventually piled up 51 shots on goal. The Otters' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Fergus Falls finished with 24 penalty minutes.

The Otters were helped by Sam Rausch, who finished with one goal. Rausch scored 8:52 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Fergus Falls. Jesse Ketonen picked up the assist. Fergus Falls also got a goal from Zach Tarczon as well. In addition, Fergus Falls received assists from Joe Nathe, who had one.

Other players who recorded assists for Sartell-St.Stephen were Cullen Chisholm, who had one and Kyle Erickson and Matt Worzala, who contributed two a piece.

Fergus Falls' Ian Bjorgum stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that he faced. The Otters registered two goals on five power play opportunities. Elliott Brookins made 48 saves for Sartell-St.Stephen on 51 shots. The Sabres totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 2-for-6 on the power play.
