The Owatonna Huskies rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the Faribault Falcons.

Owatonna let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Huskies took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Jordan Klein at 3:00 in the first period. Owatonna found itself down 3-1 after Faribault's Christan Von Ruden put the puck home at 16:44 in the first period. After evening things up at 3-3 on a goal by Peter Hanson at 2:47 in the third, the Huskies got the game-winner from Mason Bloomquist at 13:32 in the third period.

Owatonna was led by Bloomquist, who had one goal.

The Huskies stifled the Falcons' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Owatonna's offense rang up 34 shots on Faribault's net.

Owatonna also got a goal from Matt Ratzloff as well. Other players who recorded assists for Owatonna were Aaron Kirsch, who had one and Soren Colstrup, who had two.

The Falcons put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Huskies to score on any of their five power plays.

Faribault was helped by Connor Wierschem, who tallied one goal. Wierschem scored 6:24 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Faribault additionally got points from Von Ruden, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tyler Becker also scored for Faribault.

Owatonna's Luke Ebeling stopped 26 shots out of the 29 that he faced. The Huskies incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Cody Morsching rejected 30 shots on goal for the Falcons. Faribault incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
