Duluth Denfeld survives Duluth East comeback, wins 5-4Duluth Heritage Sports Arena Tue, Jan 08, 2013 The Duluth Denfeld Hunters survived a determined comeback attempt by the Duluth East Greyhounds on the way to a 5-4 win. A goal by Alex Thomspon put Duluth Denfeld up 5-2 in the third period, but Duluth East pulled to within one on Meirs Moore's tally 15:20 into the third period. With 19 shots on target during the contest, the Hunters exceeded the 0.1 shots they average per game this year. Duluth Denfeld also got a goal from Alex Larson as well. More assists for Duluth Denfeld came via Patrick Potswald, who had one. The Greyhounds' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Duluth Denfeld power plays. Duluth East's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. The Greyhounds are averaging 2.0 goals against for the season. Duluth East's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. The Greyhounds put 56 shots on net during the contest, more than the 4.0 they average per game.
