Cretin-Derham Hall rips Blake School, 6-2Blake School Ice Arena Tue, Nov 27, 2012 The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders were firing on all cylinders against the Blake School Bears, and when the final buzzer sounded Raiders emerged with a 6-2 win. Patrick Cullen had two goals and one assist to lead Cretin-Derham Hall. Cullen scored the first of his two goals at 8:51 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Cretin-Derham Hall. Cullen's next tally made the score 5-1 Cretin-Derham Hall with 9:39 left in the second period. The Raiders earned a power play opportunity when Mark Lyman was put in the box for tripping. Kendall Bolen-Porter picked up the assist. Cretin-Derham Hall stifled Blake School's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raiders' offense rang up 43 shots on the Bears' net. Cretin-Derham Hall also got points from Jack Buckingham, who also had one goal and one assist and Bolen-Porter, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Cal Crawford also scored for Cretin-Derham Hall. More assists for Cretin-Derham Hall came via Nick Reis, who had two and Bret Huebner, Joe Dekker, and Levi Bailey, who each chipped in one. Blake School's penalty kill unit could not stop Cretin-Derham Hall's power play, which converted on three of three opportunities. George McLeod made 27 saves for the Raiders on 29 shots. Cretin-Derham Hall incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Joe Santelli rejected 37 shots on goal for the Bears. Blake School incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
