The Rochester Lourdes Eagles scored three goals in the second period to pull away from the Albert Lea Tigers and clinch a 5-1 win.

Jason Samuelson was all over the ice for Rochester Lourdes, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Samuelson scored the first of his two goals at 8:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Rochester Lourdes. Samuelson's next tally made the score 2-0 Rochester Lourdes with 12:17 left in the second period. Karl Krecke assisted on the tally.

The Eagles pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 12 penalty minutes.
