Huge game by Miller boosts Valley over Space Coast, 13-0Haverhill-South 2 Fri, Nov 09, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Valley Junior Warriors' Luke Miller had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing two assists in his team's 13-0 win over the Space Coast Hurricanes. Miller notched his first tally 11:20 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:33 into the first, at 24:07 into the first, and at 10:07 into the second.Space Coast was unable to stop Valley from sending pucks towards the net, and the Junior Warriors eventually piled up 73 shots on goal. Valley surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Junior Warriors average 3.6 goals per contest. Valley got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Valley additionally got points from Brendan Heinze, who also finished with one goal and three assists, Brendan Philippon, who also tallied one goal and three assists, Eriberto Cordero, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Brandon Tuttle, who also grabbed three goals and two assists, and Stephen Faia, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Matthew Saraceno made six saves for Valley on six shots. The Junior Warriors ended with no penalties and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Harrison Vangellow rejected 60 shots on goal for the Hurricanes. Space Coast totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and had no power play opportunities. For the Hurricanes, Cory Della_Stua was ejected from the game.
