Michelle Clark-Crumpton netted a hat trick to lead Brisbane Goannas over North Star Sirens, 7-3.

Clark-Crumpton's first goal came 9:41 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:12 into the second and at 9:52 into the third.

Brisbane Goannas' penalty kill excelled, as Brisbane Goannas gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Brisbane Goannas stifled North Star Sirens' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brisbane Goannas surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Brisbane Goannas has scored at the pace of 3.6 goals per game during the current campaign. Brisbane Goannas' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Brisbane Goannas also got points from Jemma Wallace, who also had two goals and one assist. Melissa Bibby also scored for Brisbane Goannas. More assists for Brisbane Goannas came via Tracy Hocutt, who had one and Natasha Farrier, who had two.

North Star Sirens was led by Melissa Rulli, who finished with one goal and one assist. Rulli scored 15:37 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Brisbane Goannas. North Star Sirens also got a goal from Sharna Godfrey as well. In addition, North Star Sirens received assists from Kaylee White, Erin Bow, and Andrea Lim, who each chipped in one.
