Early goals doom North Star Sirens, falls to Melbourne Ice, 13-0

Melbourne Ice opened up a five-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 13-0 over North Star Sirens.

Fances McPhail was all over the ice for Melbourne Ice, as she tallied two goals and three assists in the win. McPhail scored the first of her two goals at 2:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Melbourne Ice. McPhail's next tally made the score 3-0 Melbourne Ice with 10:03 left in the first period. Georgia Carson provided the assist.
