Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) squeaks by Buffalo Jr Sabres (mm), 4-2

The game between Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) and Buffalo Jr Sabres (mm) was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Connor Wood secured the win for Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) with a goal in the third period.

Buffalo Jr Sabres (mm)'s power play was ineffective against Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) was paced by Wood, who registered one goal and one assist. Wood scored on the power play 11:20 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Thunder AAA Hockey (mm). Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) earned a power play opportunity when Ryan Hornberger was put in the box for slashing. Andrew Kluge picked up the assist.

Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Buffalo Jr Sabres (mm) to score on any of its seven power plays.
