St. Louis' Johnson deadly on offense in 3-1 win against Minnesota

Brycon Johnson had two goals to lead the St. Louis Jr. Blues to a 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Flying Aces.

Johnson found the back of the net 2:35 into the third period to make the score 2-1 St. Louis and again while 18:50 into the third to make the score 3-1 St. Louis.

St. Louis also got a goal from Victor Gortz as well. Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis were Simon Koscielski, who had one and Cody Guidorzi, who had two.

Minnesota was led by Alec Brandup, who scored the team's only goal. Brandup scored 11:08 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Vladimir Marchenko picked up the assist.

Clint Steinmeyer made 24 saves for St. Louis on 25 shots. The Jr. Blues incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Matt McLaughlin rejected 25 shots on goal for the Flying Aces. Minnesota incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
