Holder leads Soo Firehawks over Holland River Bandits, 11-4

Soo Firehawks' Andrew Holder had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 11-4 win over Holland River Bandits.

Holder found the back of the net on the power play 13:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while on the power play 14:19 into the second to make the score 5-2 Soo Firehawks.

Holland River Bandits' power play was ineffective against Soo Firehawks' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Soo Firehawks forced Holland River Bandits' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 62 shots and forcing 51 saves. Kent Nusbaum made 38 stops and Brendon Hanser made 13. Soo Firehawks put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Holland River Bandits to score on any of its six power plays.
