Soo Firehawks beats Holland River Bandits 9-2 as Murphy gets hat trick

Holland River Bandits could not stop Soo Firehawks' Nicholas Murphy, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-2 win.

Murphy notched his first tally 5:55 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:31 into the third and at 9:39 into the third.

Soo Firehawks forced Holland River Bandits' goaltenders to work all game long, totaling 55 shots and forcing 46 saves. Andrew Zuckerman made 38 stops and Kent Nusbaum made eight.
