Bloomington Blaze falls to Hartland Hounds in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Hartland Hounds' Paul Krystyniak scored 53 seconds into overtime to beat Bloomington Blaze, 4-3 (OT).

Bloomington Blaze could not complete its climb out of a two-goal hole. Hartland Hounds made the score 3-1 on a goal by Cameron Miglia at 7:52 in the third period. Bloomington Blaze pulled to within 3-2 on a power play goal by Edgars Ozolinsh at 12:07 in the third period.

In the losing effort, Bloomington Blaze was sparked by Cody Philips, who had two goals. Philips scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 17:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington Blaze. Bloomington Blaze earned a power play opportunity when Matthew Passino was put in the box for roughing. Patrick Anaruk assisted on the tally. Philips' next tally on the power play made the score 3-3 with 2:14 left in the third period. Ozolinsh picked up the assist.
