Kubas leads Michigan Grrrowl over Rhinelander Street Cats, 9-5

Steven Kubas was all over the ice for Michigan Grrrowl, as he tallied four goals and one assist in Michigan Grrrowl's 9-5 win over Rhinelander Street Cats.

Kubas got on the scoresheet 32 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 2:31 into the second, at 15:49 into the second, and at 13:12 into the third.

Michigan Grrrowl pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 19 penalty minutes.

Michigan Grrrowl also had goals scored by Julian Willbey, who had one and Zachary Cruz and James Stacey Jr, who each put in two. A holding penalty on Keith had put Rhinelander Street Cats on the power play. Devin Vanderwyk assisted on the tally. Rhinelander Street Cats also got points from Kirill Kulakov, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points and Vanderwyk, who also registered one goal and one assist. Rhinelander Street Cats also got a goal from Dmitry Lvov as well. Other players who recorded assists for Rhinelander Street Cats were Todd Houtari, who had two.

Michigan Grrrowl's Taylor Kuhn stopped 15 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Michigan Grrrowl registered three goals on six power play opportunities. Spencer Brasswell made 10 saves for Rhinelander Street Cats on 19 shots. Rhinelander Street Cats registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Team's Lvov and Aleksandr Ilin were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
