Michigan Grrrowl beats Bloomington Blaze 7-5 after comeback scare

Bloomington Blaze tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Michigan Grrrowl held on for a 7-5 victory.

A goal by Vaughn Clouston put Michigan Grrrowl up 7-4 in the third period, but Bloomington Blaze pulled to within two on Tyler Gehrken's tally 18:35 into the third period.

Michigan Grrrowl got the win thanks to a great game by Clouston, who had two goals and two assists. Clouston scored the first of his two goals at 9:27 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Michigan Grrrowl. Clouston's next tally made the score Michigan Grrrowl with 3:30 left in the third period. Chad Cobb assisted on the tally.

Michigan Grrrowl racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and three majors for 53 minutes in penalty time.
