G L Lightning fell behind early, and Michigan Ice Dogs kept piling on the points on the way to an 11-1 victory. Derek Fitzpatrick Jr was all over the ice for Michigan Ice Dogs, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Fitzpatrick Jr scored 7:29 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Michigan Ice Dogs. Arron Podbielniak picked up the assist.
