G L Lightning could not stop Hartland Hounds' Jacob Henrikson, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-1 win.

Henrikson got on the scoresheet 1:33 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:37 into the third and at 17:39 into the third.

Hartland Hounds was led by goalie Myles Grix, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Grix certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.14 entering the contest.

Hartland Hounds also got points from Gabe Daavettila, who also grabbed one goal and three assists, Zachary Bodziak, who also had one goal and one assist, and Alexander Grizzel, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Hartland Hounds included Tyler Thirlby, who had one and Jared Vincek, who had two. Other players who recorded assists for Hartland Hounds were Andre Spisak, who had two and Thomas Kerr, Cameron Fisher, Cameron Miglia, and Ethan Doyle, who contributed one a piece.

G L Lightning struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Hartland Hounds to score two power play goals on three chances.

G L Lightning was led by Andrew Shalawylo, who scored the team's only goal. Shalawylo scored 13:42 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Hartland Hounds.
