Vincek nets hat trick, leads Hartland Hounds to 9-1 win over Michigan Ice Dogs

Jared Vincek netted a hat trick to lead Hartland Hounds over Michigan Ice Dogs, 9-1.

Vincek's first goal came 4:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:05 into the second and at 15:05 into the second.

Hartland Hounds was led by goalie Andrew Brownlee, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Brownlee will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.87.

Hartland Hounds forced Michigan Ice Dogs' goaltenders to work without much rest, finishing with 42 shots and forcing 33 saves. Andrew Freeman made 24 stops and Colton Lewicki made nine. Hartland Hounds stifled Michigan Ice Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Hartland Hounds outdid its season average for goals scored.
