Soo Firehawks rips Rhinelander Street Cats, 7-1

Soo Firehawks had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over Rhinelander Street Cats.

Rhinelander Street Cats fell victim to a deadly Soo Firehawks power play, which ripped Rhinelander Street Cats for four goals.

Soo Firehawks was paced by Taylor McRorie, who tallied one goal. McRorie scored 8:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Soo Firehawks. Michael Mullen picked up the assist.

Soo Firehawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Soo Firehawks forced Rhinelander Street Cats goalie Kent Nusbaum to work between the pipes, taking 68 shots.
