Bloomington Blaze's Lourash deadly on offense in 8-4 win against NWO Grrrowl

Jacob Lourash was all over the ice for Bloomington Blaze, as he tallied two goals in Bloomington Blaze's 8-4 win over NWO Grrrowl.

Lourash found the back of the net 9:52 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 15:44 into the second to make the score 5-3 Bloomington Blaze.

Bloomington Blaze forced NWO Grrrowl's goaltenders to work all game long, racking up 31 shots and forcing 23 saves. Vincent Ryckman made 19 stops and Andrew Zuckerman made four. Bloomington Blaze bested its season scoring average. Bloomington Blaze averages 3.8 goals per game.

Bloomington Blaze also got points from Joseph Clemente, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, Steven Smoltz, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Matt Donley, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, and Patrick Anaruk, who also had one goal and one assist. Tyler Gehrken also scored for Bloomington Blaze. In addition, Bloomington Blaze received assists from Kyler Schmor, who had three and Anton Thompson and Kyle Kabacinski, who contributed two a piece.

NWO Grrrowl was helped by Zachary Cruz, who had two goals. Cruz scored the first of his two goals at 10:06 into the first period to make the score 2-1 NWO Grrrowl. Cruz's next tally made the score 3-2 NWO Grrrowl with 4:36 left in the first period. Michael Munoz picked up the assist. NWO Grrrowl additionally got points from Munoz, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Ryan Santo, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for NWO Grrrowl came via Gilbert Guerro, who had two.

Bloomington Blaze's William Rohleder stopped 22 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Bloomington Blaze incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. NWO Grrrowl incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
