Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Bloomington Blaze defeated Tennyson Chevrolet in a shootout 3-2 (3-1 SO). The shootout lasted for eight attempts between the teams. Tennyson Chevrolet got a shootout goal from Joseph Matyaszek. In addition to the clincher, Bloomington Blaze got shootout goals from Patrick Anaruk and Kyler Schmor.Bloomington Blaze was led by Matt Donley, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Donley scored on the power play 1:31 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Bloomington Blaze. A hooking penalty on Anthony Davey had put Bloomington Blaze on the power play. Joseph Clemente assisted on the tally. Bloomington Blaze also got a goal from Schmor as well.
