Huge game by Gehrken boosts Bloomington Blaze over Tennyson Chevrolet, 5-1

Bloomington Blaze's Tyler Gehrken had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-1 win over Tennyson Chevrolet.

Gehrken scored on the power play at 8:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Bloomington Blaze and again while on the power play 18:06 into the third to make the score 5-1 Bloomington Blaze.

Bloomington Blaze also got points from Joseph Clemente, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Jacob Lourash also scored for Bloomington Blaze. Other players who recorded assists for Bloomington Blaze were Steven Smoltz, who had three and Cody Philips, Kyler Schmor, Anton Nenakhov, and Patrick Anaruk, who contributed one a piece.

Tennyson Chevrolet was often in penalty trouble, totaling six minors and two majors for 42 minutes in penalty time.
