Hartland Hounds rolls over Great Lakes Lightning, 6-3

Hartland Hounds had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over Great Lakes Lightning.

Cameron Miglia was all over the ice for Hartland Hounds, as he finished with two goals in the win. Miglia found the back of the net 8:40 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Hartland Hounds and again while on the power play 19:55 into the first to make the score 4-1 Hartland Hounds.

In a losing effort, Great Lakes Lightning was paced by Austin Postek, who grabbed three goals.

Hartland Hounds' offense rang up 35 shots on Great Lakes Lightning's net.

Hartland Hounds additionally got points from Thomas Kerr, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Hartland Hounds also had goals scored by Alexander Grizzel, who had one and Jared Vincek, who had two. In addition, Hartland Hounds received assists from Paul Krystyniak, who had two and Brad Savard, Nikolay Bakanov, Derek Kalisz, and Matthew Passino, who contributed one a piece.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Other players who recorded assists for Great Lakes Lightning were Aaron Henderson, Jacob Bradley, and Latham Wojno, who each chipped in one.

Hartland Hounds ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jacob Henrikson was ejected from the game. Garrett Avery recorded 29 saves for Great Lakes Lightning. Great Lakes Lightning incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
