Hartland Hounds' Krystyniak deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Tennyson Chevrolet

Behind a great game by Paul Krystyniak, who had two goals, Hartland Hounds defeated Tennyson Chevrolet, 4-1.

Krystyniak scored on the power play at 4:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hartland Hounds and again while 5:35 into the first to make the score 2-0 Hartland Hounds.

Hartland Hounds was led by goalie Andrew Brownlee, who finished with 30 saves while allowing one goal. Brownlee certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.8 entering the contest.

Tennyson Chevrolet's power play was ineffective against Hartland Hounds' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Hartland Hounds put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Tennyson Chevrolet to score on any of its eight power plays. Hartland Hounds was held below its usual level of production. Hartland Hounds puts an average of 6.3 pucks into the net per game. Hartland Hounds could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

Hartland Hounds also got points from Jared Vincek, who also had one goal and one assist. Hartland Hounds also got a goal from Alexander Grizzel as well.
