Nicholas Murphy had two goals to lead Soo Firehawks to a 6-3 victory over Bloomington Blaze.

Murphy's tallies came at 4:23 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 9:53 into the second to make the score 4-2 Soo Firehawks.

Soo Firehawks made Bloomington Blaze's goalies to work all game long, getting 32 shots and forcing 26 saves. Robert Cook made 17 stops and William Rohleder made nine.
