Nicholas Murphy had two goals to lead Soo Firehawks to a 6-3 victory over Bloomington Blaze. Murphy's tallies came at 4:23 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 9:53 into the second to make the score 4-2 Soo Firehawks.Soo Firehawks made Bloomington Blaze's goalies to work all game long, getting 32 shots and forcing 26 saves. Robert Cook made 17 stops and William Rohleder made nine. Soo Firehawks additionally got points from Ryan Marshall, who also registered one goal and one assist, Alexander Drulia, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Anthony Laaksonen, who also registered one goal and one assist. Soo Firehawks also got a goal from Cody Anderson as well.
