In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Rhinelander Street Cats escaped with a 6-4 victory over Great Lakes Lightning.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Rustam Kuts at 5:16 of the second period.

Rhinelander Street Cats was paced on offense by Kuts and Peter Carlin, who combined for five points. Kuts had two goals and one assist and Carlin also notched one goal and one assist.

Rhinelander Street Cats' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Great Lakes Lightning power plays. Rhinelander Street Cats' offense rang up 40 shots on Great Lakes Lightning's net. Rhinelander Street Cats' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
