Thomas Kerr had one goal and three assists to lead Hartland Hounds to a 9-3 victory over NWO Grrrowl.

Kerr got on the board by slotting home a short handed goal 13:51 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Hartland Hounds. A unsportsmanlike conduct call on Jacob Henrikson put Hartland Hounds on the penalty kill. Kerr dished an assist on Jared Vincek's goal that made the score 3-1 Hartland Hounds at 6:40 into the second period. He then added assists on Paul Krystyniak's goal at 18:20 into the second and on Henrikson's goal at 1:30 into the third.

NWO Grrrowl's 14 penalties came back to haunt it, as NWO Grrrowl let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Hartland Hounds excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. NWO Grrrowl was unable to stop Hartland Hounds from sending pucks towards the net, and Hartland Hounds eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Hartland Hounds bested its season scoring average. Hartland Hounds has scored at the pace of 6.7 goals per game during the current campaign.

Hartland Hounds also got points from Vincek, who also had one goal and one assist, Nikolay Bakanov, who also registered one goal and one assist, Cameron Miglia, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Krystyniak, who also racked up two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Hartland Hounds were Seth Gruenberg, who had one and Zachary Bodziak, who had three.

NWO Grrrowl was not heavily penalized during the game, and finished with 13 minors and one major totalling 41 minutes. NWO Grrrowl fell short of the 54.0 minutes average penalties per game.

NWO Grrrowl was helped by Ryan Santo, who had one goal. Santo scored 7:18 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Hartland Hounds. Dalton Gertsen provided the assist. NWO Grrrowl also got a goal from Cody Staub as well. More assists for NWO Grrrowl came via Gary Simmons and Kyle Cobb, who contributed one a piece.

Andrew Brownlee rejected 25 shots on goal for Hartland Hounds. Hartland Hounds incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors. Chris Lewis recorded 40 saves for NWO Grrrowl.
