Tennyson Chevrolet rolls over G L Lightning, 10-1Allen Park C.A. Sat, Feb 09, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Tennyson Chevrolet had an eight-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 10-1 win over G L Lightning. Tennyson Chevrolet's offense was sparked by Ryan Brown, as he ended with four assists in a victory against G L Lightning. Tennyson Chevrolet's penalty kill excelled, as Tennyson Chevrolet gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Tennyson Chevrolet stifled G L Lightning's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Tennyson Chevrolet surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Tennyson Chevrolet has scored at the pace of 5.2 goals per game during the current campaign. Tennyson Chevrolet could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 32 minutes in penalties during the game. Tennyson Chevrolet also got points from Jason Pischke, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Kenneth Winter, who also had one goal and one assist, Keaton Lang, who also registered one goal and one assist, James Smith, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Justin Whitson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Tennyson Chevrolet also had goals scored by Joseph Matyaszek, who had one and Ryan Santo and Ryan Krolikowski, who each put in two. More assists for Tennyson Chevrolet came via Dominik Corredino, Thomas Emery, Bobby Domin, and Chris Lewis, who contributed one a piece and Zachary Chapman, Cal Jesko, and Anthony Wojciechowski, who each chipped in two. Tennyson Chevrolet's defense shut down G L Lightning's forwards for much of the game, and G L Lightning got off only seven shots during the contest. G L Lightning struggled on the penalty kill, allowing Tennyson Chevrolet to score three power play goals on three chances. Chris Lewis made four saves before being replaced by Corredino, who took the win and made two saves. Zach Boes took the loss and made seven saves before being replaced by Garrett Avery who made five saves. G L Lightning incurred 44 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors.
