Soo Firehawks falls to Tennyson Chevrolet in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Tennyson Chevrolet's Cal Jesko scored 58 seconds into overtime to beat Soo Firehawks, 4-3 (OT).

Tennyson Chevrolet came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Tennyson Chevrolet trailed 2-0 after a goal by Soo Firehawks' Nicholas Murphy at 11:40 in the first period. Tennyson Chevrolet knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Kenneth Winter at 18:44 in the third period.

Tennyson Chevrolet's penalty kill excelled, as Tennyson Chevrolet gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Tennyson Chevrolet forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up 12 minors and one major for 49 minutes in penalty time. Tennyson Chevrolet surpassed its season average of 44.0 penalty minutes per game. Tennyson Chevrolet was held below its usual level of production. Tennyson Chevrolet averages 6.4 goals per game. Tennyson Chevrolet forced Soo Firehawks goalie Brandon Hansen to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.
