Holland River Bandits survives Great Lakes Lightning comeback, wins 5-3

Great Lakes Lightning almost clawed its way back from a four-goal deficit, but Holland River Bandits managed to pull out a 5-3 win in the end.

Holland River Bandits led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Holland River Bandits' Alexander Devries' scored at 19 seconds in the second period to put Holland River Bandits up 4-0.

Holland River Bandits was paced by Bryce Stenstrom, who tallied one goal and one assist. Stenstrom scored 5:33 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Holland River Bandits. Riley Clark picked up the assist.

In the losing effort, Great Lakes Lightning was led by Jack Grebe, who registered two goals. Grebe scored the first of his two goals at 8:04 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Holland River Bandits. Aaron Henderson assisted on the tally. Grebe's next tally made the score 5-3 Holland River Bandits with 1:30 left in the third period. Miles Knight picked up the assist.

Holland River Bandits excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Great Lakes Lightning was unable to stop Holland River Bandits from sending pucks towards the net, and Holland River Bandits eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Holland River Bandits additionally got points from Clark, who also had one goal and one assist, Devries, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Tyler Teglia, who also registered one goal and one assist. Holland River Bandits also got a goal from Harry Braafhart as well. In addition, Holland River Bandits received assists from Abram Prince, who had two and Bailey Rietman, Mitchell Krust, and Greg Balsam, who each chipped in one.

Great Lakes Lightning made Holland River Bandits' goaltenders to work without much rest, totaling 36 shots and forcing 33 saves. Jeromy Semtner made 18 stops and Trevor Teglia made 15.
